FIT – Fires in Tunnels
In this EU project which started in May 2001 there were 33 partners and the budget is 1.5 M Euro. It is not a research project, but involves collection of data concerning existing tunnels in Europe. The information was to be used in the UPTUN and DART projects. The project consists of five work packages: Consultative database, design fire scenarios, guidelines for fire safe design, fire response management, information and communication, management.
